Three Ways To Get Your Life Together in 2017

Alright people it’s finally 2017. The holidays are over, you probably gained some weight, it’s cold, and everyone is posting their old vacation pictures of how they were somewhere warm and now its brick cold outside (we’ve all been guilty of doing this). Anyways, in this post I’m going to share with you three ways to get your life together this new year. Let’s get started!

Keep track of your finances

If you want to get your life together you need to keep track of how much money you’re spending. Maybe even create a budget for yourself. I keep track of my finances by making excel spreadsheets. Trust me you don’t have to be an accounting major to do this, they are so easy. If you want me to write a post on how I create my excel spreadsheets drop me a line on the comments section. But in all honesty you cant keep breezing through your adult life swiping your card and wondering where all your money went. It probably went to all the booze and food you bought this weekend (let’s be real). This leads into my next point.

Eat green stuff!

Anyone who knows me knows that I’m obsessed with Kale. But you don’t have to go hard core and eat tons of kale. Just try and get your daily servings of vegetables. You can do this in so many ways. Smoothies and fresh pressed juice are a great alternative! You know that vegan place that you probably drive by? actually go in there and check it out, you’ll find something you’ll love (trust me on this).

And last but not least….

Set goals for yourself and actually achieve them

I don’t know how many times I’ve set goals that I haven’t achieved. But as I got older and started setting goals for myself and actually worked hard to achieve them I really felt I had my life together. So please set some goals! It can be anything like “this weekend I’ll only have one bottle of wine to myself instead of two” or “this month only order pizza once” (the struggle is real). It can be small goals to huge goals like “slay at my job and get a promotion this year.” Whatever goals you set for yourself just work hard to achieve them and you’ll feel put together in no time!
