Hello my lovely readers! I just got back from my NYC trip, and I’ve been busy non stop (hence the late post). I visited my friend Lauren who works and lives in the city. So here’s some pictures from my trip!
First Day
We got lunch from the original Shake Shack at Madison Square Park.
This mud pie shake was amazing guys!
This is the view we had from our seats.
The Flat Iron Building was right next to Madison Square Park.
We went to Eataly after.
Later in the evening we had dinner at Maialino which is the restaurant she works at.
This lobster pasta was so delicious!
This cocktail called the Isabella includes St. Germain, Cocchi Rosso, Grapefruit and Prosecco. It tasted amazing.
Then she took me to a Jazz Club where different bands come in to play Jazz music. It was so classy and refreshing.
Then later in the night we met up with two friends to grab a drink at the Belfry, this bar was beautifully decorated.
Second Day
Lauren was at work during the day so I was in the city on my own doing touristy things. The first place I went to was the Top of The Rock at Rockefeller Center.
Such amazing views (cue the Drake album) of the city!
If you visit NYC I highly recommend going to Top of The Rock.
Then I went into St. Patrick’s Cathedral (it was Ash Wednesday so I had to get some ashes).
After this I was so hungry so I went to Joe and The Juice.
I ordered the immunity juice which includes red grapefruit, passion fruit, and apple. I also got an avocado, mozzarella, and tomato sandwich.
Then I was on my way to Times Square.
Then I finally reached Times Square.
When my friend got out of work we met up with another friend who works in the city to grad a margarita at Empellon Cocina. This margarita was so delicious guys. It was a cucumber margarita that had the perfect amount of spiciness.
Third Day
For my last day we decided to get brunch at Midwinter Kitchen before I left.
I got the seasonal omelette which included spinach, cheddar, and bacon.
They also make their own hot sauce which was so good.
Overall it was such a fun trip. I hope you all enjoyed my many touristy pictures.
What’re your favorite things to do in NYC? Let me know guys, I’d love to adventure more next time I make the trip.
