Sushi Sunday

Hello there! So Martin Luther King day was Monday and that meant no classes! My best friend Mikayla and I decided to grab some sushi and drinks on Sunday because why not? we didn’t have to get up early for our 9 a.m classes. We went to one of my favorite places in Providence, RI called Mount Fuji Japanese Steakhouse. This place not only has amazing hibachi but also fantastic regular dining. As soon as we sat down we reached straight for the drink menu because three words…treat yo self. Anyways, she ordered a Bahama Mama (left) and I got a Mai Tai (right).

After we got our drinks we spent like 30 minutes just looking at the menu…. our server probably thought we were so indecisive. I asked our server to give us suggestions because I knew I wanted to try something different, I’m pretty adventurous when trying new food. I took one of my server’s suggestions and ordered the Sweet Heart Roll and boy was I glad I did! It’s spicy lobster with crunchy avocado inside topped with tuna, spicy tuna, spicy mayo, and sweet chili sauce. So yummy, but I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

Mikayla ordered the NY.CT Roll. It’ shrimp tempura inside with spicy crunchy crab, caviar on top, with eel sauce, and spicy mayo (and of course she had to get her avocado rolls too).

Overall, it was a great dinner and definitely within a college girl’s budget.
