Hi my lovely LOJ readers! So while every other fashion blogger made gift guides during the holiday season in 2019, I decided not to create any in an already over saturated area. Also you guys already know how I roll. I don’t want to spend time shilling products at you all the time, I just want to offer the most useful and helpful content I can! HOWEVER, I am now blessing you all with a guide on what you should have at your desks at work in the winter! These are all items that I have at my desk during the winter and sometimes all year round and they have been life savers for me and I hope they are for you all.
Although this post may be catering a lot to those of you who work at a desk. I feel like a few of these items everyone should have in the winter no matter what career they have!
Shop The Post
1. Under The Desk Heater
THIS LITTLE HEATER MAY BE SMALL BUT IT IS MIGHTY! I cannot rave enough about how useful this heater is. It is very powerful and does not make any noise!
2. Blanket Scarf
I LOVE me a good blanket scarf! The one I linked is big enough where I can actually use it as a blanket over my lap if need be. I also like to put it over my back kind of like a cape for added warmth and coziness at my desk.
3. Eucalyptus Lotion
Dry hands are a big no no during winter. After washing my hands either from the bathroom or the kitchen sink I use this lotion to moisturize my hands and the lotion smells amazing! It truly is stress relieving (gotta do what you can guys). Also the extra moisture adds warmth to your hands! It’s a win win.
4. Slides
These are great in fall and winter. Sometimes if you have boots on and your under desk heater is on it can get a little too hot. I love to keep a pair of slides to change into after I’ve commuted in my winter boots. I have a pair of white and black slides because they match with anything!
5. Blue Light Glasses
Okay guys if you haven’t gotten yourself a pair of blue light protecting glasses, PLEASE DO. While working on the computer the harmful blue light can cause headaches and impact your eyes negatively. These filter out that harmful light to protect your eyes and reduce headaches!
And that’s all I got guys, I hope these items help you feel warmer and cozier this winter at work 🙂
